Charlie & Jasper's Pups Born 10 Jan 2010

Charlie & Jasper's babies have arrived. Four girls & 4 boys and all very strong & healthy. Available for their new homes from the 14th March. We have 4 red males, 2 red females & 2 black & white females so the reds dominate this litter. I am taking names now & still have pups available. The reds are $750 & b&w's $650. They  will have had their first vaccination & vet check by 8wks when they are ready to leave here.

I also know a  lovely 4 1/2 year old spayed red female looking for a good home down Wairarapa - Carterton way. I will be meeting with them mid March & she will come North with me  for anyone that is interested. She is from Tyler/Brucie. Photos and more info available

They are all NZKC reg.  Maddie, Charlie & Jasper are tested clear for CL & CEA so the pups will also be clear.

I am organising homes for the pups now so please email me or phone in the evenings to register your interest.

It is important my pups are homed well. They will require time & energy put into them for the relationship to work. They really can not be left at home all day on their own. If they are, they can become naughty. It is not their fault - they need stimulation and company & get bored if they don't receive that. A run at the end of the day is not enough for the bright active Border. You have to be an active person to own a Border Collie. If you are after a calm relaxed dog DO Not look at getting a Border Collie.

Thank you for all the email enquiries but if you don't meet those requirements a Border Collie is not the dog for you. Ohh & if you own a digital camera & enjoy using it, that is a thumbs up from me!!

I  get hundreds of spams  So if you don't hear back from me please try again as I may have not spotted your email.

Maddie & Jasper November 05

November 2005 they had their second litter. 2 girls & 6 boys.  Maddie this time, was more mature  & a SUPERB Mum.

It is wonderful to see both their characters coming out in all the pups. Talking to some of the pups owners it is just hilarious to hear of the little quirks they pick up. We hope they balance them out but sometimes you will get a pup that will defiantly sway more one way in characteristics & looks to one side. It is just great seeing them all grow & also the ear structure they inherit. Maddie with her pricked ears.  It is hard to tell which way they will go till the pups get older. Toby, TJ & Ruby are from Maddie & Jasper's first litter & I have included the latest photos I have of them.

Tyler & Brucie Nov 04 & June 05 litters

Tyler enjoyed having 4 puppies to bring up in November 04 & so did we. It is much easier to control 4 & we were able to move them about quite easily. We have kept in close contact with these guys & had many visits from their owners which is fantastic. Beautiful dogs we are very proud of. The 2 blondes Tess & Holly are regular visitors &  we look forward to having Holly for a month in June 06 while Helen & Martin have a return visit to the UK.

Then an unplanned litter in June. Obviously 4 pups was too easy so Tyler blew us away by having 7  to look after. The first litter I have had where I had to mark them to tell them apart.  From the photos we have been sent, we have produced some beautiful dogs again taking on the lovely natures of
Tyler & Bruce.  One of the pups from this litter (Malin) we are looking after for 6 mnths while his quarantine procedures go through. Malin is a very big dog like his Grandfather with a very long coat & has a wonderful soft nature.

It is great to have the opportunity to get to know him so well & he  is a delight to have. It is no wonder his owners are insisting he goes to the UK with them.  We are going to be very sad to see him go. His older sister Holly came for a visit & as you can see both love the water.

Maddie - Sep 13 2004

Maddie & Jasper had their first litter in September 04. Maddie was an absolutely wonderful mother & we had a great bunch of good looking pups. It has really settled her down & it has made her a lot more relaxed dog.

I will be following their progress through with interest to see their personalities . Jasper is such a clown & we could see a lot of his funny little idiosyncrasy's come through in the pups along with his good looks.

One of the pups is a little timid like Maddie was as a pup & we will be keen to see how she progresses.

Tyler - Dec 6 2003

Tyler and Brucie parented 6 beautiful puppies on the 6th Dec 2003. It had started getting pretty hot so Tyler was well pleased to drop her load as we found it had slowed her down considerably.. although she was still able to jump the gate even the day before she had the pups much to my horror!

She was an absolutely wonderful Mother & we had to keep her away in the end to wean the pups from her.

Brucie absolutely loved his kids too & once they were old enough it amazed us to watch them leap all over him & he was so gentle. I think it was me and Brucie who missed them the most when they left!

Both parents have such bright, friendly natures and they have passed those attributes on to their children.

So we had a rather busy Christmas / New Year with all these pups and lots of visitors - they were a pretty popular attraction. Great entertainment for the kids who just adored them.

By 6 weeks old the pups had all developed their personalities & that puppy love took over!!

As hard as I tried to stop myself from becoming emotionally involved with them, those little heart breakers won me over. There were lots of tears when they left!!

I am so pleased they have gone to such wonderful new homes and I am thrilled every time I get photos & news of them. I hope to keep you posted on their growth & photos too.

Jessie - Nov 17 2000

Jessie gave birth to 7 beautiful babies. It was a busy time as this was Jessie's first litter and at 5 1/2 she was a rather independent Mum.

She enjoyed having me as her nanny!!! Although extremely tiring it was very rewarding & there were lots of tears when I had to say goodbye to my pups.

I had spent nearly every waking hour I had with them.

They went to wonderful people & homes and two very special puppies stayed with me, Tyler & Jasper. (I have a bit of a soft spot and my family had teased me "How many will you keep?!!" I don't think they were too surprised even if 4 dogs did sound a lot!! )

We had some neat times with the crew, taking them on outings so they could get used to the big wide world. Their confidence at times was rather overwhelming for us but I am sure it made the steadfast happy natures they now have.

They had lots of interaction with children including my niece Allanah (9yrs at the time) who came and stayed for a week and was a great help.
